Citicore Renewable Energy Corp.'s (CREC) P5.3 billion IPO was named Best Mid-Cap Equity Deal of the Year at Alpha Southeast Asia's 18th Annual Deal & Solution, ESG, and Transaction Banking Awards, held February 12, 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. The June 2024 IPO sold 1.96 billion shares and was oversubscribed, highlighted by a $12.5 million investment from the UK Government's MOBILIST Programme, its first IPO participation in the Philippines' renewable energy sector. The proceeds support CREC's goal of reaching 5 GW of capacity in five years. AlphaPrimus Advisors led the deal as CREC’s financial advisors.

An article from Chinabank's company website that mentions that AP served as the advisor for Chinabank and Manulife PH's renewal of 15-year bancassurance agreement

Chinabank and Manulife Philippines renewed their bancassurance partnership under Manulife China Bank Life (MCBL) for another 15 years. The alliance, which started in 2007, distributes financial protection and wealth management products through 650 Chinabank and China Bank Savings branches nationwide. Chinabank holds a 40% stake in MCBL, which booked P10.35 billion in premium income and P1.39 billion in net income in 2024. The renewal remains subject to Insurance Commission approval.

AlphaPrimus Advisors brokered a $120 million cross-border deal in which Citicore Renewable Energy Corp. (CREC) sold a 20% stake to Pertamina NRE, the renewables arm of Indonesia's largest energy company. Pertamina identified CREC as a key Southeast Asian renewables player, citing its leadership and entrepreneurial track record. AlphaPrimus CEO Manolet Salak and executive director Albert Lagtapon led the advisory mandate, further cementing the firm's reputation in energy and renewables M&A.

Billionaire Lucio Co's Crystal Bridges Holding is acquiring 100% of Manuel Villar Jr.'s PrimeWater Infrastructure, the country's third-largest water utility. Industry sources pegged the deal value at around P30 billion, mostly debt, with the Villar family estimated to have cashed out roughly P10 billion for its shares. AlphaPrimus Advisors, acted as the financial advisors to PrimeWater in the said deal.

2025 Manila Bulletin article about Alternergy tapping AP and Astris as financial advisors for their capital raising

Renewable energy firm Alternergy Holdings engaged AlphaPrimus Advisors and Astris Finance as financial advisors for its capital-raising program. The framework supports Alternergy's "Road to 500 MW" capacity target and builds on the P20 billion the company raised within 15 months of its March 2023 listing. AlphaPrimus, an M&A and debt advisor, has advised on close to 80 transactions worth more than $37 billion.

Security Bank is acquiring a 25% stake in Home Credit Philippines from MUFG Bank for approximately P11 billion. Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya) retains its 75% majority stake, while the deal strengthens Security Bank's consumer finance capabilities and market presence. Home Credit serves over 11 million customers as a POS market leader with more than 15,000 locations nationwide. AlphaPrimus Advisors acted as financial advisor and Picazo Law as legal counsel to
Security Bank.

2024 Manila Bulletin article on AP serving as financial advisor for the Unionbank and ATRAM asset management merger

UnionBank and the ATRAM Group are merging their trust subsidiaries to create the Philippines' leading trust player, with combined AUM over P485 billion. UnionBank takes a 27.5% stake in ATR Asset Management, with existing ATRAM shareholders holding 72.5%, consolidating both firms' trust units under ATRAM Trust Corp. as the surviving entity. AlphaPrimus Advisors served as financial advisor to ATRAM, with Exchange Equity Partners advising UnionBank.

2024 Inquirer article on formation of strategic partnership between AP and Polestrom Consulting to create a one-stop shop for PPP infra projects

AlphaPrimus Advisors, the boutique M&A firm founded by ex-ING country head Manolet Salak III, formed a strategic cooperation with PPP specialist Polestrom Consulting. The goal: a one-stop shop for infrastructure PPP proponents needing both project development and financial muscle, with a shared focus on social infrastructure for poorer communities. AlphaPrimus Advisors, acted as the financial advisors for Chinabank.

Ateneo's JGSOM hosted a forum on 8 July 2023 with four AlphaPrimus Advisors leaders, including Executive Directors Calvin Chua and Albert Lagtapon. 2022 OneNews article on AP serving as financial advisor for ACEN's ETM transaction to retire their SLTEC coal plant

ACEN, the Ayala Group's energy platform, completed the world's  Energy Transition Mechanism first market-based Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) deal to divest the 246-MW SLTEC coal plant in Batangas. The structure cuts the plant's life in half, retiring it by 2040 and avoiding up to 50 million metric tons of carbon emissions. The Php 17.4 billion deal funneled Php 7.2 billion back to ACEN for renewable energy projects, advancing its goal of 20 GW of renewables capacity by 2030. AlphaPrimus Advisors acted as the financial advisors to ACEN.
